After longer downtimes such as weekends or holidays, we recommend fl ushing the
water lines intensively before starting work.
Intensive Flushing with the Water Separation Unit (WSU)
Select Intensive Flushing
Message: Take out all the instrument tubes
Open the menu “Flushing “ on the touchscreen
Use the hygiene cover
Confi rm
The fl ushing time “Intensive “ is indicated on the display.
After completion of the intensive fl ushing, the push-button of the cuspidor lights up
green for normal operation. Remove the instrument tubes from the hygiene cover
and put them back into their holders.
While intensive fl ushing is activated (push-button lights up blue) do not work on the
patient.
The push-button lights up blue: intensive fl ushing has started. Double click on the
button of the cuspidor to activate intensive fl ushing. Intensive fl ushing is carried out
in two phases. During the fi rst phase with double dosage, the push-button of the
WSU fl ashes blue. During the second phase, the rinsing phase, the push-button of
the water separation unit fl ashes blue-green up to the end of the intensive fl ushing
process.

Once all the instruments have been fl ushed, activate the cup fi ller. Repeat this
procedure until normal operation is indicated (the green push-button lights up) on the
water separation unit.
