$L
n Logon Sequence
Edit logon sequence n, where n = 1-9.
Allows you to edit logon sequences to be used during normal or reliable connections
in either originate mode or auto-answer mode. If a Security Database password has
been set, you must enter the correct password before you can edit a logon sequence.
(See also the $P command.) If no password has been set, anyone can edit the logon
sequence.
%L
n Speed Matching
%L0
Provides partial speed matching.
%L1
Enables speed matching.
%L2
Disables speed matching.
%L3
Enables ITU-T Automode.
Determines whether the modem uses speed matching to establish a connection.
With %L3 set, modem operation complies with the proposed annex to the ITU-T V.32
specification for automoding when interworking with V.22bis and V.22 modems. :T13
defines how long the answering modem tries to establish an ITU-T automode
connection. %L3 must be set in order for register :T13 to take effect.
The following charts indicate the connections that the modem can establish when %L1
or %L3 is set.
