Prefix Length
— The length of the IPv6 prefix. This field is applicable
only when the destination address is defined as a global IPv6 address.

Interface
— The interface that is used to forward the packet. Interface
refers to any Port, LAG or VLAN.

Next
Hop
— The address to which the packet is forwarded on the
route to the Destination address (typically the address of a
neighboring router). This can be either a Link Local or Global IPv6
address.

Metric
— The value used for comparing this route to other routes
with the same destination in the IPv6 route table. This is an
administrative distance with the range of 0-255.
–
Life-Time
— The timeout interval of the route if no activity takes
place.
Infinite
means the address is never deleted.

Route
Type
— Specifies whether the destination is directly-attached
and the means by which the entry was learned. The possible options
are:
•
Local
— A directly-connected route entry.
•
Static
— Manually configured route, supported only for default
gateway, learned through the Neighbor Discover (ND) process.
•
ICMP
— The route was learned through ICMP Redirect
messages, sent by the router.
•
ND
— Route was learned by the ND protocol from Router
Advertisement messages.
