Power Supply Requirements
The standard Compaq ProLiant 5000R power supply is dual rated at 490 watts
at 115 volts and 540 watts at 230 volts. When fully configured, we strongly
recommend operating the ProLiant 5000R at 230 volts.
If you plan to operate the ProLiant 5000R at 115V, the following
configuration restrictions apply:

No configuration restrictions apply when operating the server at 230 volts.
Upgrading ROMs
All server models feature flash ROMs on both the system and the Compaq
SMART-2 Array Controller if a SMART-2 Controller is present. A flash ROM
can be upgraded via software, removing the requirement to physically replace
the chip.
