To enable debugging of the Baseline Privacy Interface (BPI) handler, use the
debug cable bpiatp
command in privileged EXEC mode. To disable debugging output, use the
no
form of the command.
debug cable bpiatp
no debug cable bpiatp
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines
This command activates debugging of the BPI feature. When this command is activated, the
Cisco CMTS displays debugging information for any BPI-related messages that the CMTS sends or
receives.
Note
This command is supported only on images that support BPI or BPI+ encryption.
Tip
Debugging must be enabled for one or more cable interfaces, using the
debug cable interface
command,
before the
debug cable bpiatp
command displays any output.
