To enable the sending of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps for cable-related events,
use the
snmp-server enable traps cable
command in global configuration mode. To disable the sending
of traps, use the
no
form of this command.

Syntax Description
Defaults
No SNMP traps for cable-related events are enabled. You can specify one type of trap or any combination
of traps. When the
snmp-server enable traps cable
command is given without any options, all cable-
related traps are enabled.
