To display information about the CMs and their CPE devices connected to a particular cable interface,
use the
show interface cable modem
command in privileged EXEC mode.

The
show interface cable modem
command displays the cable modems that are known to be using or
were last using the specified cable interface. When a cable modem goes offline, it remains associated
with its last known cable interface and is shown as “offline” in the command’s display for 24 hours.
The CPE devices associated with offline cable modems remain in the command’s display either until
their cable modem has been offline for 24 hours or until the device’s Address Resolution Protocol (ARP)
entry times out (the default value is 4 hours), whichever comes first.

slot/port
Identifies the cable interface and downstream port on the Cisco uBR7100 series
and Cisco uBR7200 series routers.
On the Cisco uBR7100 series router, the only valid value is
1/0
. On the
Cisco uBR7200 series router,
slot
can range from 3 to 6, and
port
can be 0 or 1,
depending on the cable interface.
slot/subslot/port
Identifies the cable interface on the Cisco uBR10012 router. The following are
the valid values:
•
slot
= 5 to 8
•
subslot
= 0 or 1
•
port
= 0 to 4 (depending on the cable interface)
sid
(Optional) Specifies the service ID (SID) to be displayed (1 to 8191).
