Chapter 3 Repairs
Note:To check the cooling circuit, the Mixolab preferably needs to
be connected to the water via a cryostat (see opposite)
1. Access the Mixolab's maintenance menu.
2. Click the solenoid valve icon to feed water into the cooling cir-
cuit (
A ).
The solenoid valve icon turns green and a blue bar represent-
ing the water supply appears (
B ).
3. Run the cooling circuit for 3 minutes; this will quickly reveal
any leaks.
Watch the instrument carefully, a leak may appear ( c ), IN
WHICH CASE click the solenoid valve to stop it immediately.
4. If a leak appears, switch off the instrument and check the
whole cooling circuit.
