Chapter 2 Trouble-shooting
6 No water being injected in the mixing
bowl
■
Power off the instrument and power it back
on after more than 30 seconds
Is the draining process performed during
initialization?
●
If YES , perform a dosing in the menu
maintenance.
- If OK , problem resolved
- If Not OK , calibrate the proportioning
pump.
●
If NO , open the right-hand cover of the
Mixolab 2.
- Check all the connections on the propor-
tioning pump's controller.
- Repeat initialization of the instrument.
- The initialization sequence does not start
or only partially completes, check the
PWR and ALM LEDs on the top of the
controller:
Check the controller's power supply
on the 5-pin connector at the bottom
of the controller.
If the power supply is OK, change
the controller.
The controller reports a fault.
Repeat initialization by connecting
the outlet of the syringe to a simple
hose (to check that the water circuit
is not blocked)
If Not OK, change the syringe.
If OK:
- Check that no hoses are pinched
or blocked.
- Check that the solenoid valve is
being actuated.
- Check with another solenoid
valve.
Check in particular the RJ45 con-
nection between the CPU board
and the controller, as well as the
connections between the controller
and the syringe-plunger motor.
7 Magnetic detector stuck on 1

Magnetic sensor out of order, replace it.
■
The magnet fixed to the bowl is missing or
not working. Install a new bowl equipped with
a magnet.
