B Other faults
Symptom/Description Action See §
1 Test start-up time very long.
■
Bowl temperature takes too long to fall
(check on the maintenance screen):
- The bowl is cleaned with hot water -> cool
down the bowl before starting a test.
- Problem with cooling circuit (feed water too
hot, insufficient water flow)
-> correct, adjust the flow rate.
- Cooling circuit blocked
-> locate the blockage by dismantling parts
one by one.
■
A sequence of tests with different protocols
in which the tank T° for protocol P1 is different
from that for P2
(Tank T° P1 >> Tank T° P 2).
The tank temperature may be too high (check
on the maintenance screen)
-> empty the tank between two tests

2 Abnormal change in the unit's
temperature This phenomenon may be caused by:
■
The cooling circuit's inlet and outlet hoses
being inverted.
■
Cooling water flow incorrectly set -> adjust
■
Check on the magnetic rear plate of the
bowl that the location of the dough
temperature sensor is not blocked up.

3 Software problem:
Incompatible file formats
■
The format of the test files in the first
software versions is incompatible with that of
the most recent versions
-> to update the Mixolab program, install the
new version in a new directory and keep the
old version.
■
Problem with the pump's solenoid valve.

4 Abnormal result:
Abnormal start of the torque curve
(very marked peaks during water
injection)
■
Injection nozzle blocked for leaking (on the
sides)
■
Brackets of the mixing blade on the mixing
bowl not fully pushed in, presenting hard
spots.
5 Wear on the bowl's brackets
■
Replace the brackets as soon as traces of
wear appear.
