Chapter 2 Trouble-shooting
ERR 7 “Start attempted while the cover is
open!”
Motor start attempted while the cover
is open
■
Cover open -> close it an press OK.
■
Test the sensor on the maintenance
screen:
- If the fault is persistent, replace the sensor
(magnet or detector),
- If the fault is intermittent, inspect in
particular the fastenings of the magnet and
detector and the detector's wiring and
connections.

ERR 71 "Cover safety contact no longer
detected!"
Cover open not detected between 2
consecutive tests

Open and close the cover between
two tests.
■
Test the sensor on the maintenance
screen:
- If the fault is persistent, replace the sensor
(magnet or detector),
- If the fault is intermittent, inspect in
particular the fastenings of the magnet and
detector and the detector's wiring and
connections.

ERR 8 "Bowl not locked!"
Bowl lock contact not detected when
motor starts!
■
Bowl not locked -> lock it (lever leftwards)
and press OK.
■
You should hear a click when pushing the
lever to the left -> if that is not the case,
inspect the contact (contact blade broken,
fastening lost), and repair as needed.
■
Test the sensor on the maintenance
screen:
- If the fault is persistent, replace the contact,
- If the fault is intermittent, inspect in
particular the contact's wiring and
connections.
