Chapter 3 Repairs
6.
Remove the two retaining screws from the sensor bracket (

)
then remove the sensor with its bracket.
7.
Loosen the set screw on the coupling on the motor side (
F
).
8.
Unscrew the motor's four retaining screws (
G
) then remove the
motor.
Note: When removing the retaining screws from the motor, hold
the motor so that it does not tip over under its weight.
Make sure the air gap between the disc and the induction sensor is
correct (1 mm), otherwise adjust the position of the sensor or that of
the thumb wheel's hub (see
Operation 6-3
).
