8.3.3 Freeze protection function

The Backup heater can be enabled as “Freeze protection function” and will be operated during the Defrost or

Start-up.

The function of Backup heater as “Freeze protection” can be enabled or disabled by Par4620.

If the Par4620=1 (enabled during Start-up), the Backup heater will be activated after 30sec. Start-up of the

compressor and only if the Outgoing water temperature is lower of the set point by Par4621.

The Backup heater will be turned OFF when it achieves the set point by P hysteresis.
