syslog_facility
defines the local facility to which the Unix
syslogd
daemon sends Annex
syslog messages. Please refer to the
CSMIM/MicroCS Administrator’s
Guide for UNIX for a detailed syslog configuration description, and to your
Unix system documentation.
syslog_host
contains the IP address of the host that logs Annex messages. If you use
Annex Manager’s default setting (
0.0.0.0)
, the Annex broadcasts its log
messages.
syslog_mask
determines the priority levels that the Annex logs. You can enter
all

a single option from the list below, or a combination of options separated
by commas (e.g.,
emergency, alert
). The following list includes options in
priority order. You can enter:

to log all Annex reboots.

to log configuration and initialization problems such as

to log all line initialization errors, including CLI errors.
