Resizing a pattern
The following describes how to resize a programmed pattern.
The reference point of resizing can be changed. The magnifying direction varies depending on the position of the
reference point.
If the reference point is not determined, the
pattern is resized on the basis of the home
position. If the reference point is determined, the pattern is
resized on the basis of the reference point.
1. Carry out step 1 of "Procedure for modifying
program" to call program.
2. Move the needle to the reference point of
resizing with .
When resizing the pattern to the home position, there
is no need to move the needle.
3. Press , and then press .
Input the resizing command.
4. Press , and then press .
Input the resizing percentage for the X-axis. Enter
the 3 digit number in
to specify the
magnification percentage. 150% is specified in the
example.
5. Press , and then press .
Input the resizing percentage for the Y-axis. Enter
the 3 digit number in
to specify the
magnification percentage. 150% is specified in the
example.
6. Input the stitch length, and then press .
If the stitch length is 0.0, the pattern is resized
keeping the number of stitches of the original data.
7. Carry out steps 3 and 4 of "Procedure for
modifying program" to save program.
