Wait approximately 15 seconds, then
reattach
the power to the Granite Switcher.

Wait approximately 15 seconds, then
Power
on
the Granite Server.

Double-click on the BPswitcher icon and load
a show, as described in section 1.7.
When a show is loaded, the Granite
Switcher processor module (connected
through the Service port of the Granite
Switcher) will now be updated, a progress
bar will appear on screen.

Once the progress bar has disappeared,
reattach the supplied orange crossover cat5e
network cable from the Granite Server to the
Control Panel, so that there is a connection
from the Control Panel to the Granite Server,
as shown on the right.
For future upgrades, it is recommended to
permanently install a network switch between
the Granite Switcher, Granite Server, Control
Panel and Remote Panels to eliminate this
step.
16.
If the control panel needs updating, it will
automatically be updated when connected to
the show, a progress bar will appear.
Once the progress bar disappeared and the
control panel automatically reboots, the
Granite System is now upgraded.
You may now start to use the new features.
