6.5 Program the Automatic Start Up Function
The lamp(s) require approximately 20 minutes to warm up after power ON
before analysis can be started.
The system can be programmed to turn ON automatically at a specified time
for each day of the week.
CAUTION
The automatic ON option does not open and close the main water
valve, so it must be left open. Follow laboratory protocols for
inspecting the DI water system and main water valve.
TIP
The ability to perform “Auto Preparation” is enabled for each day of the
week in System Maintenance by Beckman Coulter Technical Services.
The three auto preparation options are:

•
Photocal
•
W1 + Photocal
Once System Maintenance is enabled, check the day of the week to perform the
Auto Preparation.
