The partial freeze state starts with 2D-modes frozen and Doppler mode
scanning.
When partial freeze is turned on, pressing
[
E
]
toggles the display between the 2
states:
•
Doppler mode frozen; 2D-modes scanning.
•
2D-modes frozen; Doppler mode scanning.
To end partial freeze:
•
Press (long)
[
E
]
.
Any frozen modes in the selected view start scanning.
Split Screen
You can split the screen horizontally or vertically to display 2 views side by side or
one over the other. If simultaneous scanning is turned on, both views can be
scanning.
To split the screen:
•
Press
[
C
]
.
The screen is split to display 2 scan images.
If you are using a single-plane transducer, the 2 views contain the same scanning
view.
If you are using a biplane transducer, each view displays the image from one
scanning plane.
To select one of the views:
•
Click in the view you want to select.
or
•
Press
[
C
]
to select the view that is not currently selected.
To remove the split:
•
Press (long)
[
C
]
.
The currently selected view is resized to fill the screen.
Simultaneous Scanning
The 2 views in a split screen can both be scanning simultaneously; in this case,
freezing and unfreezing affect both images.
To turn simultaneous on and off:
•
Click Simultan on the right side of the screen.
