Access to 8770 authentication failed
Symptom : 8770 authentification failed
Diagnosis : Ice root partition full
Command : >>du -h* >>ll -h*
Solution : empty the backup file

8770 installation failed http port 80 detected as already in use
Symptom : 8770 installation in Windows 7 : http port 80 detected as already in used by setup despite no IIS
service
Solution: Deactivate W7 firewall or check netstat
–ap or apply the port script provided

Error message « remote exception »
Symptom
: when trying to access to OT configuration from 8770 the system return “remote exception”
Diagnosis : check thet the windows service Jboss is started, check that the java is not updated comparing to
the 8770 release note java version
Solution : uninstall the java update from the add/remove programm of windows and install the java provided
by the 8770 delivery CDROM

Symptom : The message «
erreur _bad _framework_session_identifier” can be found in addition
Diagnosis : Get the logs for SR :

\8770\Log\WS.log
\8770\restoreContext.ini
Solution : verify the FQDN of the opentouch : no blank inside (at the beginning or at the end)
It is strongly recommended to use 8770 client out of the 8770 server
Use the 8770 client not on the server but on an other PC

Error message “Remote exception from OT : template id cannot be null”
Symptom : when creating a user the system send back : Remote exception from OT : templateid cannot ne
null
Solution : check that the template is create and does
not content particular caracter as “é” or “ñ””

Error message “Transport error : 503 Error : Service Temporarily Unavailable”
Symptom:
Incident when try to connect on a user on 8770 : “error : Transport error : 503 Error : Service
Temporarily Unavailable”
Diagnosis :
JBoss Application service is not started or doesn’t start well.
Solution: Reset JBoss Application Server Service on 8770 server
Log Jboss to analyze : 8770/JBoss/bin/Run.log
The Jboss service is started well when there is the message in this
log “JBoss … Started in Xm:Ys:Zms”.
