Note that delivery reports are not requested for status messages.

Receiving a status message

When you receive a new status message, the status message alert is played
and the device vibrates. If you receive a message during a call, the alert tone
and vibration are shorter.

Unread messages are indicated by the Missed events

icon in the

Android Status Bar.

Deleting a status message

You can delete status messages in the same way as SDS messages. For
instructions, see chapter
