4. Using Tactilon Dabat
Tactilon Dabat is a dual-mode device (DMD), which functions both as a
TETRA radio and an Android smartphone, and as such, combines both the
TETRA and Android functionality in one device.
When used as a TETRA radio, Tactilon Dabat provides you with the following
TETRA functionalities.
In addition, Tactilon Dabat has a
PMR Status Bar
, which is used to show
important information regarding calls, the use of the push-to-talk (
PTT
)
button, and changing of TETRA groups.
On the other hand, the
Android Status Bar
is used to show the status of the
device and services also when the device is used as a TETRA radio.
This section introduces the
Home
screen, which is the starting point for
accessing the TETRA features and other applications, and also gives an
overview of the functionality of the Android Status Bar and the PMR Status
Bar.
