When the TETRA services are off, you cannot access the TETRA activities. In
addition, the PMR Status Bar is hidden in all views and the TETRA icons are
not shown in the Android Status Bar. The Alert icon
displayed in the
Android Status Bar and the permanent notification
TETRA Services disabled
related to this icon remind you that the TETRA services are off. The
corresponding notification is also shown on the lock screen.
When you switch the TETRA services on, you are requested to enter the
same TETRA codes as when you start up the device.
Note that when the TETRA services are off, other TETRA shortcut icons -
except TETRA services indicator
- are not shown in the Quick Settings.
Changing to DMO
Open the
and select
Direct mode
. Alternatively, open the PMR
settings and select
Direct mode
. If you press the Direct mode
icon or
TETRA signal indicator
icon in the Quick Settings, the PMR Settings are
opened in which you can change the mode from TMO to DMO, or vice versa.
The color of the Android Status Bar changes to yellow and the Direct mode
icon is displayed when the changing of the mode to DMO succeeds. The
selected DMO channel and group are shown in the PMR Status Bar. The
TETRA signal indicator
icon the Android Status Bar indicates the
received signal strength in DMO.
Note that the loading of the DMO channels and groups may take some time.
If there are no DMO channels configured, it is not possible to change the
mode to DMO. This is indicated to you by an error tone and an error message.

Changing to TMO
To change from DMO to TMO, open the
and select
Network
mode
. Alternatively, open the PMR settings in Android settings and switch the
Direct mode
toggle to off, or use the Quick Settings.
