Duplex and semi-duplex calls
Making an individual call
You can make duplex calls to TETRA numbers (
Private
), PSTN numbers
(
Phone
) or PABX numbers (
Office Ext.
). There are several ways in which you
can initiate an individual call in Tactilon Dabat.
Note:
A semi-duplex direct call may be changed to an alerting call if, for
example, the called party has the loudspeaker off or the
Do not disturb
mode on. The changing of the call type is indicated with a
notification in a snackbar and a notification tone.
1. Initiate the call by using one the following options:
•
Open the
TETRA Phone
app to make a new call.
Search for the contact or enter the phone number.
•
Open
TETRA Contacts
to make a call to a person who is saved
as one of your contacts.
•
If you want to make a call to a recently dialed, received or missed
number, open the
Call log
.
•
Call the sender or recipient of messages in the
Single conversation
view.
2. Start the call by touching the Duplex call button
in any of the views
