Polarity Detection (Fn080)

The polarity detection function is used to detect the polarity and save the servomotor phase data in the SER-
VOPACK.

(1) Preparation

The following conditions must be met to detect the polarity.

• The write prohibited setting parameter (Fn010) must be set to Write permitted (P.0000).
• The servo ON signal (/S-ON) must be OFF.

(2) Operating Procedure

Use the following procedure.

Press the MODE/SET Key to select the utility function.

Press the UP or the DOWN Key to select Fn080.

Press the DATA/SHIFT Key for approximately one second.
The display shown on the left appears.

Press the MODE/SET Key to start polarity detection.

After polarity detection is completed, the display shown on
the left will appear. The servomotor will turn OFF.

Press the DATA/SHIFT Key for approximately one second.
"Fn080" is displayed again.
