Chapter 2 Installation

NOTICE

The TB103 connector can plug in only one way. Make sure that you do not start at the wrong end

when connecting AC or stop circuit wires. Check your wiring against the labels stamped on the

processor board, holding the connector against the terminal block the way it will plug in.

Plug the connector back into the TB103 terminal block. Double-check connections, referring to

the labels stamped on the board.

Make all necessary conduit connections to ensure NEMA 12 protection.

Do not connect wires to the AC power source until you are done with all other installation

procedures. Also make sure to number all wires in a way consistent with your press’s electrical

prints.

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD

Do not connect AC wires to the power source until all other installation procedures have been

completed.

Failure to comply with these instructions could result in death or serious injury.

Installing Strain Links

Two (AutoSetPAC 2-Channel) or four (AutoSetPAC 4-Channel) differential strain links are provided

with your AutoSetPAC load analyzer. Part numbers and corresponding cable lengths or connector

type for both standard and metric strain links are shown in Table 2-4.
