Dosing setting with a
different driving speed
If your tractor does not drive at the speed as indicated on the
spreading chart with the PTO shaft rpm as indicated, the dosing and
discharge point settings must be adjusted.

Calculate the flow rate required for the entire spreader with your
driving speed.

Select the value in the flow rate column for the entire spreader that
most closely corresponds with the calculated value.

If the required value for the flowrate is not indicated, apply the
calculation methods as described in the previous paragraph with
the flowrate instead of the application rate.

Adjust the spreader as per the recommended dosing and
discharge point settings.

Check the dosing setting by performing a calibration test,


The following will be achieved with the fertiliser and spreading chart
from the example:

Suppose you want to work with a width of 18 metres and an
application rate of 350 kg/ha, but your tractor drives 8.5 km/h at 540
rpm, instead of 8 km/h.

The required flowrate is obtained from the formula:

Flow rate for the entire spreader: 89.25 kg/min.

Look for the line in the spreading chart with the calculated flow rate
for the entire spreader in the column: 89 kg/min.

Read the settings from the line:

Dosing setting: 48+3
•
Calibration test value for one disc: 42 kg/min
•
and discharge point M.
