Gear boxes

The gear boxes under the spreading discs and the central gear box

contain grease. The gear boxes are in principle maintenance free. The

grease only needs to be replaced if you opened the gear boxes for any

reason whatsoever. Replace the grease with new grease.



Place all the parts in one half of the gear box.



add the required volume of grease,

Mount the other half of the gear box.

Connectors

The connectors between the central gear box and the spreading disc

gear boxes are used with border spreading and when checking the

spreading pattern with the tray test. Disconnect one of the connectors

from the spreading discs.



Apply a suitable lubricant to the drive axles and connectors.

Oiling the connectors will prevent them from corroding and becoming

difficult to use.
