Enter previously used password prior to entering a new password in order to prevent pro-
grammable coefficient unauthorized changing. For this purpose do the following;
1. Activate previously used coefficient display by short pressing. Activate extreme right
symbol blinking by long pressing (used for transition to the next symbol or to the next program-
ming stage). Enter required coefficient by short pressings (used for figure or letter choice), e.g. “0
4 9 5”.
2. Confirm the entered number by long pressing. Press the button shortly for
technological mode exit.
Note. In case figure or letter is entered incorrectly, reenter the required symbol in the
place by short successive “in a circle” pressings.
Speedometer 87.3802 (in a set with 4222.3843010 transducer or similar transducer) can
be installed on the truck instead of speedometer ПА 8046-4 П .
Speedometer 87.3802 has liquid-crystal display consisting of two lines and shows total
and daily truck run. Maximum truck speed can be set on this device which indicator will signal
overrunning. Control button for indication mode choice and present values correction is located
on the device front part.
Speedometer indicator has seven modes presented in the Table 10 (modes 1, 2, 3 do not
require access password entering; mode 4 is for access password entering; modes 5, 6, 7 are pro-
tected by access password):

Mode 1 is set after ignition lock switching on and speedometer pointer setting to the zero
position on the scale. Odometer zeroing can be done in this mode by pressing the button not less
than 3 seconds.
Mode changes to the second one by button short pressing (less than 3 seconds). Maxi-
mum speed value can be adjusted in the second or third mode by button rotation.
The third mode is a warning one; it switches on automatically when the truck overruns.
Indicator returns to the previous mode when the truck slows down.
Access password protecting the fifth, the sixth and the seventh modes is entered in the
fourth mode. When switching on ignition lock, press the control button (not less than 3 seconds)
until sign «-CodE-» appears. To enter the password, press the button for a second time (not less
than 3 seconds) and release it when the first left zero in the lower line starts blinking. Figure is
