Chapter 6 Operations by configuration software
6.1 Overview
6.1.1 System configuration
You can adjust the device by connecting a HART modem to the computer and using the specialized
configuration software “Level Config”. Power can be supplied from the Power Unit, PLC, DCS, etc.
A connection example is shown in the following Fig.6.1.1

6.1.2 What is Level Config?
Level Config is the configuration software for KRG-10 that enables to adjust the device by using a PC.
Using HART for communication, it is possible to set parameters for the device and to monitor
measurement values, states, etc.
You must establish the connection between the software and the equipment before communication
operation. Please refer to
Section 6.2 .
