6.3 Draining the reservoir
To drain the reservoir, a MIRUS Draining Kit from manufacturer TIM is required (ordering
information can be found in Chapter 9). Drain the reservoir as described in the supplied
manufacturer’s Instructions for use.
6.4 Shipping MIRUS Controller
If the MIRUS Controller is to be shipped, it must be cleaned and disinfected (see Chapter 6.1
as well as fully drained (see Chapter 6.3).
It is not imperative to completely empty the MIRUS Controller reservoir before transportation,
if

there is no visible leakage from the MIRUS Controller,

the MIRUS Controller is transported in its original packaging,

transportation is exclusively on land,

the packaging is labelled "VA"
Only use the original packaging materials for the MIRUS Controller:

Safety pouch

Transportation securings

Shipping carton, white

Shipping carton, brown
If you no longer have the original packaging, you can order it from the manufacturer:
service@tim-gmbh.de .
Package
the device as described in the manufacturer’s accompanying documents.
If the MIRUS Controller is not shipped in the safety pouch, all transportation material will be
disposed of for hygiene reasons. New packaging material will be used for return shipment to
the customer.
6.5 Service Information
Service information is shown on the MIRUS Service screen (refer to Chapter 1.5.2 for more
information). This screen shows information about SW and HW revision, the web-contact, a
QR code and operating hours.
