Perform software update
To perform a software update, a corresponding SD card from the manufacturer TIM is needed.
TIM informs the user as soon as a software update is available.
Perform a
software update according to the manufacturer’s guide that comes with the SD card.
Refer to Chapter 7.4.6 for more information about messages during SW update.
Exporting event log data
The event log data can be exported to a special SD card and, if necessary, forwarded to the
manufacturer of the MIRUS Controller (TIM). A holder for storing the SD card can be found on
the rear of the MIRUS Controller.
Additional information on the SD card, the export process and forwarding of the event log
data to the manufacturer (TIM) can be found in the Instructions for use of the SD card, which
can be ordered in a print version or found online in the manufacturer’s website:

Five (5)-year service cycle
After five (5) years of operation from the date of purchase, the MIRUS Controller must be sent
back to the manufacturer for inspection and
– if needed – for reprocessing of critical elements.
End of MIRUS Controller service life
The MIRUS Controller is designated for use according to EU directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE).
After ten (10) years of operation the MIRUS Controller has to be withdrawn from the clinical
environment and returned to manufacturer for disposal.
The waste of electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed as unsorted municipal
waste and must be collected separately.
Please contact an authorised distributor of the manufacturer for information concerning the
decommissioning of your equipment.
