This error occurs if a vial is not placed in the position specified in the
instrument method or program, or if the vial position has been reset after the
vial is already depleted.
To troubleshoot:
1. Verify that a vial with a cap installed has been inserted into the specified
position.
2. Verify that sample remains in the vial.
3. If the problem persists, contact Technical Support for Dionex products for
assistance.
This error occurs if you attempt to reset vial memory, either by pressing the
Carousel Release
button or clicking a
Reset Vial Memory
button on the
Dionex AS-DV Control panel (see
), when the needle is down.
To troubleshoot:
1. Wait until the needle is raised (homed) before resetting vial memory.
2. If the problem persists, contact Technical Support for Dionex products for
assistance.
This error can occur if the carousel is jammed or the vial sensor has failed.
To troubleshoot:

button to release the carousel.
