3. Reach inside the recess and
gently pull the electrical cable
until it extends out the front of
the autosampler.
4. Remove the 6-port or 10-port
valve from the Dionex AS-DV
Valve Kit (6-port, P/N 068920;
10-port, P/N 068921).
5. Align the electrical cable with
the connector on the back of
the valve (see
Figure B-4 ).
6. Press the cable’s locking latch and insert the cable into the connector
on the valve until you hear a click.
7. Slide the valve assembly into the
valve recess, making sure not to
pinch the cable.
8. Use the two screws you removed
from the valve cover plate to
secure the valve onto the chassis.
Hand tighten.
