5.7 Replacing the Main Power Fuses
1. Turn off the power switch on the Dionex AS-DV rear panel (see Figure 5-18 ).
2. Disconnect the main power cord from both its source and from the Dionex
AS-DV rear panel.
3. The fuse drawer is located below the main power switch (see Figure 5-18 ).
4. A recessed lock is located on each side of
the fuse drawer. Use a small screwdriver
(or your fingernail) to push each lock
toward the center to release it. When both
locks are released, pull the fuse drawer
straight out of its compartment.
5. Replace the two fuses with new 3.15 A
IEC 127 fast-blow fuses (P/N 954745).
Thermo Scientific recommends always
replacing
both fuses.

6. Insert the fuse drawer into its compartment. Apply sufficient pressure evenly
against the drawer to engage the two locks. The drawer will be flush against
the panel when both locks are engaged.
7. Reconnect the main power cord and turn on the power.
HIGH VOLTAGE—Disconnect the main power cord from its source and
also from the rear panel of the Dionex AS-DV.
