3. Check the shipping container for any external signs of damage. If the

container shows any sign of damage, contact Thermo Scientific immediately.

4. Repeat the steps above for any additional shipping containers.

B.3 Connecting the Dionex AS-DV Sample Out Line

NOTE To prevent possible contamination of the tubing and

valve, Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends that you
wear gloves while connecting the Dionex AS-DV sample
out line.

1. Raise the Dionex AS-DV top cover.

2. Remove the Dionex AS-DV front cover by gripping the indentations at each

side and pulling the cover straight off toward you.

The sample out line is threaded through an aperture in the chassis (see

Figure B-1

Save the shipping  container for later use. Should it be necessary  to
return  the  Dionex  AS-DV  during  the  warranty  period,  Thermo  Fisher
Scientific  recommends  repacking  the  autosampler  in  the  original
shipping container.
