ENGINE COOLING 6B-25

9) Disconnect water inlet and outlet hose (1), (2) and reservoir

tank hose (3) from radiator.

10) Remove radiator (4).

INSPECTION

Check radiator for leakage or damage. Straighten bent fins, if any.

CLEAN

Clean frontal area of radiator cores.

INSTALLATION

Reverse removal procedures, noting the following.

• Refill cooling system with proper coolant referring to “Cool-

ant” and “Cooling System Flush and Refill” in this section.

• Adjust cooling fan belt tension to specification. Refer to

“Cooling Fan Belt Tension Check and Adjustment” in this
section.

• With A/T vehicle, check A/T fluid level, referring to “Fluid

Inspection” in Section 7B1.

• After installation, check each joint for leakage.
