Overview of the Operator Panel Screens
The following table shows the main screen for each tab and describes the operations
that can be performed from that screen. See
Operator Panel Status Icons on page 71 for
a description of the status icons.
IP Configuration (Globe Tab)
Use this screen to view and
configure the IP settings for the Ethernet port 1, which is
used to access the BlueScale web interface during
configuration. From this screen, you can access the screens
for setting the IP address for NIC1 (see
Setting the IP Address
for Ethernet Port 1 on page 42).
Drive Status (Drive tab)
Use this screen to view status of
the drives in the blade and power off an individual drive in
the blade. From Drive Status screen, you can access the
screens for powering off an individual drive in the blade (see
Power Off the Drive on page 78).
General Status (Check tab)
Use this screen to view the
overall status information about the blade and the
nTier700 VTL enclosure. This screen also shows the current
IP address of the nTier700 VTL.
RAID Status (RAID tab)
Use this screen to view the status
information about the RAID 6 volume or volumes on the
blade.
