7. After uninstallation, click Restart in the window asking to restart the device.
Note : After uninstalling the Software Suite, the User database remains on the computer
prevailed. To remove it, go to C:\ProgramData\Qiagen and remove the \Qiaidentity directory
manually. Be aware that \ProgramData might be hidden and you need to change the view
settings of the explorer. Please also manually delete the remaining PostgreSQL, which is
located at
C:\Program Files\PostgresSQL .
Updating the instrument software
Note : The latest Software Suite version 2.1 is only compatible with the control software version 2.1.
If only one software component is updated, no connection between the Software Suite and the
control software can be established.
Important : It is strongly recommended to update the Software Suite first before proceeding with the
control software.
An direct update from CSW 1.0.0.84 and CSW 2.0.0.144 to CSW 2.1 software version is
possible. Update from CSW 0.5.2.18 to CSW 2.1 requires updating to CSW 1.0.0.84 or CSW
2.0.0.144 first. Direct update from CSW version 1.0.0.84 to 2.1 may require an additional restart
of the instrument to migrate users.
