In the
Language Setting
field, a selection of languages is available according to countries
local requirements. Select the language of your choice in the drop-down menu to run the
software in a translated version. A restart of the instrument is necessary to activate the new
language setting.

Additional language packages can be uploaded as they become available, via the
Load
button. A language package consists of the translation of the Graphical User Interface and
translated protocols. The upload of a new language package is a two-step process. First, the
translated Graphical User Interface is uploaded via the
Load
button. Next, the translated
protocols need to be uploaded by following the instructions in section 5.11.1 (Installing new
protocols). For more details, contact QIAGEN Technical Services.

Settings configuration
This section describes the optional settings that can be defined by each user:
Audio volume
Display brightness
Internal light
The settings apply to the current user.

On the menu bar, press the
Configuration
icon (
).

Press the
Settings
tab. This tab is available for all users.

To adjust the audio volume or display brightness, touch the desired position on the virtual
slider on the screen. For audio volume, a sound is played with the set volume.
