On the menu bar, press the Configuration icon (
).

Press the System tab. This tab is only available for users assigned the Administrator role.

Optionally, enter a name for the QIAcube Connect MDx. The device name serves as the
network/host name when connecting the instrument to the network.
The name can have up to 24 characters: letters A–Z, a–z, digits 0–9 and a hyphen (-).
The name must start with a letter and cannot end with a hyphen (-).

In the
Date
and
Time
fields, select the current date and enter the current time for the
instrument. These are used to track the start and end time of a run and are also part of the run
report. Date and time are not synchronized using the network. To change the date, touch the
calendar icon (
) and select the date.

Use the left and right arrow icons to change the month. Then, touch the current day and press
OK
to confirm.
