QIAcube Connect MDx User Manual 12/2020

Power OFF the QIAcube Connect MDx.

Unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Wait 10 minutes for the rotor to stop.

Open the instrument hood.

Carefully move the robotic arm to the right side of the worktable, furthest away from the
centrifuge lid.

Remove the screw protection on top of the centrifuge lid. Using the rotor key, turn the screw
counter-clockwise.

Turning the screw in the centrifuge lid

Remove the waste drawer. The centrifuge release cord will be visible on the left side of the
waste drawer compartment.

Centrifuge release cord

Pull the cord firmly to release the lid from the lock.

Manually raise the centrifuge lid.
