If a bit is set, the corresponding channel is assigned. If a bit is not set, the channel is not asĆ
signed. Consequently, you must be aware of the binary equivalent of the data. For example,
assume 41 (hex) and 60 (hex) are the first two data bytes sent following the Start Load code.
41 hex = 01000001 binary
60 hex = 01100000 binary
This sequence results in channel 1 and channel 12 being assigned to line 1 of the form as shown
in Table 5-2. No other channels are assigned to line 1.
Each line on the form requires two bytes. For blank lines, the two bytes should not contain
channel assignments. That is, the data bytes sent in the load program corresponding to a blank
line on the form should not set any of bits 1 through 6.
This procedure can be continued for a maximum of 143 lines (286 DAVFU bytes). The DAVFU
ignores anything more than 286 bytes until the End Load code is received; if 572 bytes are reĆ
ceived without an End Load code, the End Load code is forced" and the load routine is termiĆ
nated.
