User's Manual

Assigning digital output

Set the measurement result for digital output.

This setting is applied to the OUT data of the Internal logging, Fieldbus (EtherCAT/Ethernet), and serial data.

Units for each setting values are as follows:

Measurement value

:nm

Amount of emitted light

:0.01% (0.01 to 100.00%)

Amount of received light

:Luminance level (0 to 4095)

Reflection power

:Lv(1 to 10000)

With ZW-8000

, the measurement state can be output.

The measurement state can be set to the non-measurement condition, and the reflection power and edge

number judgment result can be checked.

The measurement state is output as the following bit assignments.

1st bit (lowest bit) :Reflection power judgment value

2nd bit

:Edge number judgment value

The output data is output as a decimal number. If the output data is "2" for example, the 1st bit (lowest bit) is "0"

and the 2nd bit is 1 (2'b10).

The measurement state at this time does not meet the edge number comparison condition and is less than the

reflection power threshold.


