Automatic Control: Settings for output
modules (loop)
The example on the left side shows an output module
of segment (loop) 1, address 99 (indicated in the first
line of the LC module).
This menu offers the possibility to assign certain
on/off switching functions to relay and sounder output
modules.
The following on/off switching functions are available :
Activation emergency mode
not available
On/Off like Fire Outputs - This function
relates to the push button "Fire Outputs off”
on the German Fire Brigade Control Panel. If
this parameter is set to "yes” and the push
button is pressed the relating outputs are
disabled.
On/off like sounders – output is controlled
by same functions as the sounders.
The functions are disabled by F2 ("No") and the
functions are enabled by F3 ("Yes").
After setting the parameters please press F4
("Enter") to save the configuration.
Automatic Control: Settings for sounders/
sounder modules (loop)
For base sounders and sounder modules the
following functions can be configured:
Activation emergency mode
not available
not on/off like sounders (by this function
the command "sounder off" can be
suppressed for beacons with type code
"sounder" (Apollo).
Intermittent (alternate) tone
(if it is "no" sounder will be activated
continuously)
Sounder group – on each loop a maximum
of 15 sounder groups can be configured.
That means several sounders can be
subsumed into one group. The setting of the
group will be made by software (Hochiki) or
by DIP switch (Apollo). To activate all
sounders of the group you just have to
program events under "automatic controlling"
for one device of this group..
The volume can be set in the range 0 (off)
up to ten. See appendix C. (table of tones
and volumes for loop sounders).
The tone can be varied from 0 (off) up to 7.
See appendix C. (table of tones and volumes
