10. If the agent places the call on hold or goes switchhook flash while being monitored or while MONITOR ME,
or EMERGENCY/RECORDER, the voice to the supervisory position will be stopped and Music-On-Hold will
be provided. Subsequent state transition is as follows:
- When Monitor Me, Emergency/Recorder, or Monitoring by UAP is used:
After releasing the supervisory position by the agent position or UAP, and when the agent position re-
turns to two-way connection, each feature such as Monitor Me, Emergency/Recorder, or Monitoring by
UAP must be activated again.
- When Monitoring is used:
(a) According to state transition after switchhook flash or hold such as answering the held call,
answering the transferred call, abandoning the call, the supervisory position is released or moni-
toring automatically starts.
(b) The supervisory position will be automatically released when the agent position (Agent Position
A) starts three-party conference after transferring the call.
- When the agent position (Agent Position A) goes switchhook flash after talking with transfer destination:
The supervisory position (Supervisory Position A) is not automatically released, or monitoring does not
automatically start. Instead, the voice to the supervisory position will stop and Music-On-Hold is pro-
vided [See the item (a) and (b) below].
- While the supervisory position (Supervisory Position A) is hearing Music-On-Hold:
The supervisory position cannot answer an incoming call. The subsequent operation is as follows [See
the item (c) below].
• the supervisory position is released by pressing the MON/BARGE key twice, and stays ready for
monitoring again by operating to set the monitoring.
• If the agent position cancels the held call while the supervisory position unable to answer an incom-
ing call, the supervisory position starts monitoring.
