 When the ambient temperature is approximately -15 °C or lower, the phenomena described below may occur. Please take the described cor-
rective action.

Startup and driving
 The motor output is restricted and the vehicle performance
may be decreased. Then, the “PROPULSION POWER IS
REDUCED” warning display*

may be displayed.
 Keep driving if you can drive
at a similar speed as sur-
rounding vehicles.
If you cannot drive at a simi-
lar speed as surrounding
vehicles, stop the vehicle at a
safe place and charge the
drive battery.
 Regenerative braking performance may be decreased.  When braking, depress the
brake pedal harder.
Charging and battery
 Charging time becomes longer.
 Complete charging may not be possible.
 When you have finished
driving, charge the drive bat-
tery before ambient tempera-
ture falls to -15 °C or lower.
