3-10 System Preparation
1. Keep the cable end of the probe to the right side of the system, and insert the
connector into the port of the system, and then press in fully (Shown as the left figure).
2. Turn the lock handle 90°clockwise to lock it securely (Shown as the right figure).
3. Place the cable properly to avoid being treaded or wrapping with other devices. DO
NOT allow the probe head to hang free.
NOTE: Before inserting the connector into the probe port, inspect the connector pin. If
the pin is bent, don’t use the probe until it has been inspected/repaired or
replaced.
3.6.2 Disconnecting a Probe
1. Turn the locking lever 90°counterclockwise to the horizontal position (Shown in the left
figure).
2. Pull the probe connector straight out vertically (Shown in the right figure).
Tips:
z
If no effective probe is detected after the system is turned on, the system will
show a warning “No valid transducer detected”. And the system is frozen, no
image is displayed.
z
If you changed/disconnected the scanning probe after freezing the image and the
system finds no other effective probe when the image is unfrozen, the system will
show a warning “No valid transducer detected”.
z
In scanning mode, if the system suddenly detected no probe, it will show a
warning “Abnormal connection of transducer”. Image scanning can’t be
recovered until the right probe has been detected.
z If an ineffective probe is connected to the system, the system will show a warning
“No valid transducer detected”.
z
Disconnect the idle probe when system is not frozen, the system will show a
warning “Warning! It's illegal of pull out or insert the probe when system isn't
frozen. It would damage the probe!”
