7. The REV should operate to forward direction. The Green LED 14 on
the digital input card MDIP16 in slot 10 should glow.
8. If REV is not operating to forward direction, Check supply at the
REV forward side magnet valve coil.
9. If supply is more than 65 volts, then magnet valve is defective.
Replace the magnet valve.
10. If supply is zero, check the supply at the magnet valve coil terminal
(wire no. 8) with respect to locomotive 4 wire.
11. If the voltage is zero, check continuity of 8-wire loop coming to
magnet valve.
12. If voltage is more than 65V, Check the voltage between locomotive
wire 13 and wire RVFCL at the magnet valve coil
13. If the voltage is zero,
A. Check the slackness of the connector of the cable ID: AY at
MEP-660. If slack tighten the connector.
B. Check the continuity of wire RVFCL from the magnet valve coil
to the connector of cable ID: AY Pin No.M. If necessary replace
the cable.
C. The digital output card might be defective. Change the card and
check up once again.
14. Press 0 to de-energise the magnet valve and press menu key to
exit.
