PROBABLE
CAUSES
1. P1 power contactor stuck closed and there is no feed back signal
from P1 power contactor.
2. S1 power contactor tuck closed and there is no feed back signal
from S1 power contactor.
3. Wrongly connected power cables.
4. Defective digital output card.
FAULT
ISOLATION
1. Check for welded contact tips of P1 and S1 power contactors. If
welded tips are found:
A. Separate the tips and clean them.
B. Operate the power contactor manually and verify the status of
corresponding LEDs on the respective digital input card.
2. If no welded tips are found and the contactors are in good
condition, check up thoroughly the power cable connections for any
wrong connection.
3. Switch on all the breakers. If power contactors P1 or S1 are directly
picking up, then the digital output card is defective. Replace the
card.
