After manual reset if the fault still present, the fault will be generated
again.
FAULT
RECOVERY
Automatic when battery-charging current is reduced.
Automatic fault reset is permitted for 3 times in an Hour. After that
manual reset is required.
PROBABLE
CAUSES
Most probably this message will be logged soon after cranking.
1. Defective batteries
2. Defective BATI
3. Defective Aux. Gen. with internal short of field to armature.
FAULT
ISOLATION
1. Check the individual cell voltage and specific gravity. Replace the
defective battery.
2. Check the battery charging current shown on the display and the
value shown on battery ammeter.
3. If display is showing abnormally more value, then the battery
charging current sensor (BATI) is bad.
4. Replace the sensor and check once again.
5. If the message is followed by ‘Aux. Gen. Voltage High Fault’ or
‘Aux. Gen. Output Over Current’ then check for the other faults.
